Q-do is the quick and easy way to track the progress of personal projects and to-do lists. With Q-do, you can easily see how much work you’ve accomplished across multiple to-do lists and projects. You can see the rate of progress you are making, how much unfinished work remains, and much more. Q-do is the most visually compelling task manager and project management tool available on the iPhone.

FOR TO-DO LISTS: (task management)

Organize related tasks into separate projects. Track progress on your tasks like other Q-do projects.

Prioritize tasks or projects by re-ordering them with a simple drag and drop.

Tell Q-do the number of “points” each task is worth. Big tasks score more points than small tasks.

Use a slider to set the status of each task. Slide it all the way to the right for 100% complete. Q-do then tells you the percent complete for the whole project, and how much work remains.

FOR PROJECTS: (simple project management)

Q-do is an easy introduction to a “best practice” called Earned Value Management (EVM). You simply assign a point value to every task.

As you complete tasks, Q-do adds up your point score. The total point score is called your "earned value" (EV). It’s so simple!

See where you’ve been and where you’re going. By keeping a complete history of your earned value, Q-do knows how to graphically illustrate your progress. With Q-do, you aren’t forced to do project scheduling and budgeting, which many small projects don’t need.

Q-do is great for Agile projects. Change the word “task” to “user stories” (or whatever term you prefer) and ask Q-do to provide “burn-down” charts if that’s what you prefer.

Great app to track project completion ... Goes beyond what other apps offer.

Business Owner

I've been looking for something that let's me organize and track tasks for my software and real estate businesses. Q-do allows me to categorize my work and see at a glance how I've been progressing and what I have left to do. The animations keep me gratified- when the green bar outruns the blue one I have finished the project.

Q-do let's me assign things relative values on how much time they take, how much they cost, or how rewarding they are (even if they are negatively rewarding)- allowing me to balance the work I do and make progress.
